A customer in Cocoa, Florida, turned to Universal Foam Products for a personal residential insulation project in their Florida Room. Using 11 sheets of 5" thick EPS foam sheets measuring 48" x 96", they easily trimmed each panel to fit into the ceiling cavities. The nominal 1 lb Expanded Polystyrene provides an R-Value of 3.85 per inch at 75°F, giving the customer over R-19 insulation performance. The homeowner shared that the foam “really worked out great” and that the room now feels comfortable year-round—no longer like being outside.
