To raise the recessed floor area of the Westfarms Mall in Harford, CT, the contractor used 82 blocks of EPS39 Geofoam 14” x 48” x 96”. The EPS39 Geofoam used as void fill has a compression strength of 40 psi and can easily carry the live loads in a mall environment.
