Universal Foam Products supplied 1 lb density EPS rigid foam board in 2” x 48” x 192” panels for insulating a concrete digester designed to convert biomass materials into Renewable Natural Gas. The foam board was applied directly to the exterior of the digester, providing an efficient thermal barrier critical for the anaerobic digestion process. Approximately 16 feet of the structure will be backfilled with soil, while the remaining 4 feet above ground will be covered with metal sheeting for added protection and durability. Installation was completed using Tapcon concrete screws and oversized washers to ensure a secure and lasting hold.
