Our 6-Axis robotic arm EPS CNC foam cutter delivers unmatched precision for creating nearly any shape imaginable. Using advanced multi-axis motion, it produces smooth contours, complex curves, and tight tolerances in EPS foam with speed and consistency. This technology allows for highly detailed custom parts, prototypes, and large-scale builds. The result is faster turnaround times and virtually limitless design flexibility.
PRECAST
Universal Foam Products collaborated with Gate Precast on a highly detailed precast project for The Crow Museum of Asian Art in Dallas, Texas. To meet the unique design requirements, 1.8 lb density EPS foam was precisely cut using 3D CAD files and a 6-axis CNC router. Although the CNC machining process was time-intensive, it allowed for exceptional accuracy in shaping the complex forms.

Concrete Form Liners
The facades above both entrances to the Caldecott Tunnel in northern California were constructed using EPS46 Geofoam form liners to create the intricate design.

Concrete Block-outs
Concrete block-outs are typically made of EPS for tilt-up wall panels as well as vertical poured in place applications. Expanded Polystyrene has the necessary compression strength to handle the weight of wet concrete and the pieces are delivered pre-cut and ready to use. After the concrete sets up, the EPS can be easily removed.
EPS is the preferred material of bridge builders for creating the windows in reinforced concrete railings. The EPS forms can be produced to accommodate any shape or size window the engineer requests.
EPS secant wall forms help to simplify the process of laying out and
drilling secant walls.
